IMPORTANT! TES is used as a tool by counseling faculty and the Articulation & Transfer Officer to compare externally completed undergraduate coursework to determine transferability to COS. The sole purpose of such a comparison is to determine the applicability of external coursework to degree and certificate requirements, including applicability to meeting CSU GE Breadth and IGETC requirements. The course equivalencies identified are intended only for internal use by COS Counseling faculty, and are not official articulation agreements between COS and other institutions and are subject to change.
An official evaluation of transfer credits will be done upon the student submitting his/her official transcripts to COS and meeting with a COS Counselor.
Note: that students are not guaranteed undergraduate transfer credit simply because a course appear in this database. Furthermore, courses that are accepted for COS degrees may not be accepted at a transfer institution.
The equivalency database do not include credit conversion from quarter system to semester. Depending on the requirement, transfer from a quarter system institution may leave you with credits to make up in order to graduate from COS.
This database is constantly being updated with new courses, so if you do not find a course listed in this database and you are a student at COS, please consult with a COS Counselor.
