In general, transferable (baccalaureate-level) courses taken at regionally accredited U.S. institutions are accepted for elective credit. Courses displayed here have been evaluated for meeting specific SF State admissions, major or graduation requirements. Institutions and courses are added on an ongoing basis. Equivalency end dates indicate routine review and maintenance.
Users must review equivalency details for complete articulation history. Click on an institution in the list below and then click on the arrow to the left of the equivalency. To create a personalized list of equivalencies for future reference, click in the boxes on the far right, then click the ADD/VIEW MY LIST button at the top of the equivalency list. A personalized list can be emailed but not saved.
Official transcripts of all completed coursework must be received by SF State Admissions before credit can be formally accepted and articulated to SF State requirements. Hard copies, if submitted, must be delivered in sealed envelopes from the institution.
Information displayed here is provided as a guide to approved equivalencies and is subject to revision. It does not replace careful transfer planning with guidance from faculty and/or academic advisors.
