UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA OMAHA

BACHELOR OF MULTIDISCIPLINARY STUDIES PATHWAY (GLAAA TO BS)
This Guided Pathway has been created to support students enrolling at Nebraska Indian Community College in the General Liberal Arts Associate in Arts (GLAAA) degree program (60 Credit/Semester Hours) with the intent to transfer to UNO and participate in the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies degree program (120 Credit/Semester Hours).
Per UNO's Catalog and University Transfer Credit Policy, sixty-four (64) semester credit hours is the maximum allowed for transfer to most undergraduate UNO colleges from regionally accredited two-year colleges.
To maximize credit transfer, students are to strictly follow this Guided Pathway. When followed correctly, students will be able to transfer 63 Credit/Semester Hours towards the 120 required Credit Hours.
Due to the flexibility of the BMS program, any course taken at NICC for academic credit will likely count toward the BMS degree.
Students are encouraged to contact the UNO BMS Advising department unodcs@unomaha.edu or 402.554.2370 early in their NICC program to ensure maximum efficiency of credit transfer.
