GENERAL STUDIES TRANSFER COURSES
Each student must complete 30-31 hours of General Studies courses:
  • LOPER 1 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 2 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 3 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 4 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 5 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 6 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 7 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 8 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 9 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 10 - 3 credit hours
  • LOPER 11 - 2-3 credit hours optional (GS elective); may be required by programs.
*Students may not take more than 3 courses with the same prefix within the GS program.
**It should be noted that certain majors may require up to 7 additional credit hours of General Studies be taken. Students should consult the guidance of their academic advisor so their interests and major requirements are met.
***Students admitted to UNK with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from a regionally accredited institution will have fulfilled UNK's GS program requirements. Students are still expected to complete GS requirements specified within their program of study.
