UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA OMAHA

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT [FIRE SERVICE MGMT CONCENTRATION] GUIDED PATHWAY (FSAAS TO BS)
This Guided Pathway has been created to support students enrolling at Metropolitan Community College in the Fire Science Technology (FSAAS) Associate in Applied Science degree program (94.5+ Quarter Hours [63 Semester Hours]) with the intent to transfer to UNO and participate in the Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Management, concentration in Fire Service Management (120 Credit/Semester Hours).
Per UNO's Catalog and University Transfer Credit Policy, sixty-four (64) semester credit hours is the maximum allowed for transfer to most undergraduate UNO colleges from regionally accredited two-year colleges.

To maximize credit transfer, students are to strictly follow this Guided Pathway. When followed correctly, students will be able to transfer all 64 credits to UNO, 50 of which will fulfill UNO degree requirements, leaving 70 credits to be completed at UNO.
For academic advising guidance, contact the UNO Emergency Management and Disaster Science Academic Advisor/Program Coordinator, Lyndsey Rice, at lcrice@unomaha.edu or 402.554.4900.
